A scaled down version of a traditional Nautical Brine sometime called a Harness Tub, in which sailors would preserve meat in Brine. You could do that with this tub but its equally useful for all manner of storage for items wet or dry.
This tub is made from 24 hand shaped Cherry wood staves with a ld and handle. It stands at approx 380mm high, whereas the originals would be closer to 800mm but if you want a full size one I'm always happy to make a bigger tub albeit at a different price
